  8. Jesus declared that He came to give us ABUNDANT LIFE (John 10:10),
  9. a SUPERIOR LIFESTYLE .. LIFE THAT IS ABOVE THE ORDINARY.  FAITH IN
  10. GOD is the UPLIFT which causes us to rise above the ordinary.
  11.  
  12. When challenged by a situation, you see how the Word of God can
  13. change that problem into an opportunity.  People sometimes try to
  14. isolate the mind and never use it but there is nothing wrong with
  15. the mind, as long as your spirit dominates it.
  16.  
  17. FAITH TO ACHIEVE THINGS!
  18.  
  19. According to Hebrews 11:3 we "understand that the worlds were
  20. framed by the word of God" through faith.  FAITH CAUSES YOU TO
  21. BELIEVE THAT GOD IS! (Heb. 11:6) FAITH ENABLES YOU TO BELIEVE THAT
  22. GOD IS A REWARDER! FAITH GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO ACCOMPLISH
  23. SUPERNATURAL DEEDS!

  25. FAITH WORKS BY LOVE          Galatians 5:6
  26.  
  27. .,We can have faith and "understand all mysteries and all
  28. knowledge" (1 Cor.13:2) but IF WE DO NOT HAVE LOVE, then WHAT WE
  29. HAVE IS EMPTY.  Love gives all the gifts of the Spirit their
  30. substance and their vitality.  UNLESS LOVE IS OPERATING IN OUR
  31. LIVES, WE ARE JUST A BIG NOISE.

  33. 1 Cor. 13:3 "And now abideth FAITH, HOPE, LOVE ... these 3; but THE
  34. GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE." Since God is love and we have been born
  35. of the spirit of love, then as His disciples, we will operate and
  36. walk in that same kind of love.
  37.  
  38. ONLY GOD'S LOVE GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO STAND & PERSEVERE.  In
  39. Acts chapters 6 and 7, we read how Stephen, full of faith and
  40. power, was able to demonstrate God's love when faced with angry
  41. people wanting to stone him.  How did he learn this kind of love?
  42. By being a servant! By waiting on tables and serving people!
  43.  
  44. A boat has ballast weights in the keel so that the boat will have
  45. steadiness in winds, storms, etc.  If the boat is top heavy, it
  46. will turn over; but if the keel is balanced well, it will remain
  47. stable.  YOUR DESIRES & PURPOSES IN LIFE MUST BE BALANCED BY THE
  48. GOD-KIND OF LOVE IF YOU WANT TO BE A SUCCESS.  The God-kind of love
  49. turns the other cheek; forgives 70 x 70 times per day; never seeks
  50. her own!

  52. To "turn the other cheek" is not being "inactive and unresisting"
  53. but being "active, energetic and vigorous" in retaliating with
  54. love! IT'S RETALIATING IN THE SPIRIT, NOT IN THE FLESH!
  55.  
  56. LOVE IS OF YOUR WILL.  It has nothing to do with your feelings. 
  57. You CHOOSE to love someone unlovely .. someone whose personality
  58. conflicts with yours! For the God-kind of faith to work, you must
  59. walk in 1) RIGHTEOUSNESS, 2) FORGIVENESS and 3) LOVE!

  61. You must forgive those that hurt you! OPERATING IN LOVE WILL BE A
  62. PROTECTION AROUND YOU.  Eph. 3:17 tells us that we should be ROOTED
  63. & GROUNDED IN LOVE. 1 Peter 4:8 Amp.  "ABOVE ALL THINGS, have
  64. intense and unfailing love for one another for love covers a
  65. multitude of sins: forgives and disregards the offences of others."
  66. Hatred stirs up strife but love covers all transgressions." Prov.
  67. 10:12

  69. 1 Cor. 8:1 "Knowledge puffs up (Knowledge makes arrogant, one
  70. translation says) but LOVE EDIFIES ... LOVE BUILDS UP. LOVE GIVES
  71. DIRECTION TO YOUR KNOWLEDGE.  Rom.14:19 "..let us pursue the things
  72. which make for peace and THE BUILDING UP OF ONE ANOTHER."

  74. UNDERSTANDING THE WORD TELLS YOU THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO & HAVE!
  75. Faith (a supernatural substance) comes as we "hear" the Word and
  76. gives us the ability to believe for things hoped for!
  77.  
  78. YOUR FAITH HAS 3 DIMENSIONS: 
  79.      DECIDE    -    your decision must be based on the Word of
  80.                     God.  Mark 11 :24 
  81.      DECREE    -    Job 22:28 Put your will in line with the Will
  82.                     of God.
  83.      DECLARE    -   Prov. 18:20 YOUR MOUTH AFFECTS YOUR FUTURE. 
  84.                     Mark 11 :23 John 15:7 As the Word lives in
  85.                     you, you will ask & see it come to pass
  86.  
  87. LEARN HOW TO USE YOUR FAITH TO ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
  88. GOD WILL CARE FOR YOUR INTERESTS WHEN YOU CARE FOR HIS. (Matt.6:33)
  89. ACTIONS BASED ON THE WORD BRING RESULTS.
  90.  
  91. As you study, read & meditate in the Word, faith will come to
  92. believe for the things that you read about in the Bible .. healing,
  93. soundness, your needs supplied, the infilling of the Holy Spirit,
  94. salvation, etc.  HEARING PRODUCES BELIEVING.
  95.  
  96.      Things hoped for come by hearing about them through the Word!
  97.      Hearing  the  Word,  gives  you  the  power  to  believe, 
  98.      which  produces   results!
  99.  
  100.      The more I meditate in His Word, the more I see that FAITH IS
  101.      RELATIONSHIP!
  102.      The ability to ask & receive (John 15:7), follows "the abiding
  103.      in Christ"!
  104.      The desires of your heart are given, following "delighting
  105.      yourself in Him".
  106.  
  107. It is easy to find yourself "working" to achieve faith and its
  108. results but so often we are determining to read the Bible more,
  109. deciding to pray more, etc. because we think this is what is
  110. required! Actually God requires that you "love Him with all your
  111. heart, and with all  your soul, and with all your strength.  " OUR
  112. ATTITUDES & PRIORITIES MUST BE RIGHT ACCORDING
  113. TO SCRIPTURE.

  115. Let me quote six points by Bro.  Kenneth E. Hagin concerning faith:
  116.      1.   Every believer already has a measure of the "God kind of
  117.           faith".
  118.      2 .  The measure every believer has can be increased by
  119.           feeding it on God's
  120.      3.   Faith is of the heart - and not the head.  Rom. 10: 10
  121.      4.   Faith will not work in your heart when there is 
  122.           unforgiveness about you.
  123.      5.   Faith must be released in words through your mouth.  Mark
  124.           11:23,24
  125.      6.   Faith will work by "saying" it without "praying" .. but
  126.           faith also works in prayer.  However, when  you  "pray" 
  127.           it,  you  still  have  to  "say"  it.
  128.           Confess "I believe that I receive...... according to Mark
  129.           11:24."

  131. FAITH'S VISION .. SEE YOURSELF AS GOD'S WORD SEES YOU!
  132. You were created to have a vision .. you were created to fulfil
  133. visions!
